Diamond-Coated Dies (DCD) — also known as nano-diamond coated dies — are engineered to deliver significantly longer tool life, superior wire surface quality, and lower production cost compared to conventional tungsten carbide inserts. The diamond coating bonds directly to the carbide substrate, combining the hardness and wear resistance of diamond with the structural strength and precision geometry of the underlying carbide tool. Our diamond-coated die are available in two principal application categories: (1) Diamond Coated Drawing Die (for wire drawing/reduction) and (2) Diamond Coated Die for wire bunching, compaction and cable stranding.
